Welcome to Mama’s Pizza!

Mama’s Pizza strives to be a favorite gathering spot for pizza in Omaha and La Vista for families, teams, birthday celebrations, work related gatherings, holidays and re-unions. Order your pizza online now.

Mama’s Pizza in Omaha started circa 1975 on Saddle Creek and Cuming St. The building was built in the 1950’s. It originally was just the North half of the building. It had a horseshoe bar and the kitchen was located in a cubbyhole on the North side. The south side was added in the 60’s and was used as a liquor store.  It operated under the names: Jindo’s Lounge (owned by Jim and Naomi Paine) and The Big Tramp (named after the owner Guy Tramp) before settling on Mama’s Pizza.

If you are interested in the local sports community, you’re sure to find something worthwhile at one of the three Mama’s Pizza locations!

Our original location on Saddle Creek has a little bit of everything, including Nebraska football, Creighton basketball, UNO hockey and UNO football. We even have a wall dedicated to the local Omaha high schools that are no longer open.

Our second location in West Omaha pays tribute to two Omaha traditions: Creighton Bluejays basketball and the now demolished Omaha Civic Auditorium.

Our La Vista location honors the Great American Pastime. We have hats from every CWS winner, a tribute to the late great Rosenblatt Stadium, as well as a room that features Major League Baseball.
